melting snow is a good thing on multiple levels

I got a happy surprise this morning - my Calculus II lecture was cancelled.  The Math building was completely shut down because of a power outage.  Apparently melting snow created flooding in the basement, which in turn blew the power.  Here are some of the signs I joyfully read this morning on the door of the Math building.
